Welcome!

I have been in love with storytelling for as long as I can remember, growing up with my parents reading me countless classics and writing stories myself by eight years old. Conferences for writers that began early in my life fed this imagination even more and really gave me hope that this was something I could spend my life doing. Books have always been the space where my creativity flourishes, and eventually, that passion led me to write academically and professionally.

Graduating from a private university in 2026, I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ earned my bachelor's degree in English Writing with minors in Psychology, Technical Communications, and English Literature. My schooling was a great boost to the skills of analysis, creativity, and editing that I had been developing since I was a kid. It gave me the means not only to compose stories but also to comprehend how they impact the audience emotionally and ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌structurally.

Since the start of 2022, I've been able to develop and maintain a successful freelance career, where I provide my services to both individual and corporate clients, in areas of content creation, editing, proofreading, and project management. Among my different roles, my first was the role in which I wrote more than sixty home-design and lifestyle articles that were published in Love Home Designs, an engagement that eventually led to the honing of my writing style and tone for professional communication. Additionally, I had the opportunity to contribute to the IT department of a university by leading the data-entry and catalog-transfer project that was aimed at making the resources more accessible to students and faculty ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌members.

Aside from‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ corporate and freelance work, I have been a part of JIM, Inc. for a significant amount of time. It is a nonprofit organization that aims at supporting schoolchildren in Jamaica. Since 2017, I have known and worked with the director, and my involvement has been a part of the organization's content contribution, outreach support, and mission advancement to provide educational opportunities.

At present, I am a Department Head and Manager at Trident Publishing Holdings. I am in charge of writer management, and content and video creation are under my leadership. I also support brand direction and design documents and materials for our publishing divisions. My role is a combination of the creative and the strategic sides of the business. I do this by mentoring writers, developing narratives, and facilitating the implementation of the systems that enable our projects to ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌materialize.

Across every chapter of my career, the driving force has remained the same: a lifelong commitment to stories, the people who tell them, and the readers they reach.

I can't wait to start our next chapter together!

I work for Trident Publishing Holdings as a Department Head and Manager. Some of my tasks include writer management, content creation, video creation, document design, and brand management.

My experience as a freelancer goes back to early 2022, hired for personal work as well as in companies (as mentioned previously). I have worked with clients on project management, proofreading, editing, content creation, and more.

JIM, Inc. is a non-profit organization that supports school children in Jamaica. While it is a requirement in the States, attending school is a privilege for few in many other countries. JIM, Inc. raises money to pay for school supplies, uniforms, lunch and transportation.

I have been a member since its founding, though I have known and worked with the director since 2017.

I was a content writer for Love Home Designs for just over a year. It was the first freelance job I landed, getting it only a few months after I started my freelance journey.

Although I stopped working with them when they chose to take a break from article production, I've ghostwritten 60+ articles for their website that you can read today.

I held this IT Data Entry position for only a months time, assisting the university in transferring information from their catalogue to their new website section for easier access to course details.

This was originally intended to be a three-month long project, but we finished in only two months, much earlier than expected!
